Introduction

Enzo IORIO is an artist and illustrator. He lives in Italy, where he is committed to making known the naturalistic and historical beauties of his area, the Riviera Dei Fiori, that is, that strip of land overlooking the Ligurian Sea, on the border with France.
His images, with their bright colors and sinuous shapes, show small inland villages and coastal towns. He prefers artistic techniques such as watercolor, ink drawing, also acrylic, oil, and digital brushes.

His favorite subjects are Ventimiglia, Bordighera and Sanremo, seaside resorts where people live on a human scale, in perfect Italian style and where it is not difficult to spot dolphins and fin whales not far from the shore.  This is also an area made up of many small villages immersed in the green of the mountains such as Apricale, Dolceacqua, Pigna, Bajardo, Perinaldo …

In this part of Italy you can appreciate the best of Italian cuisine, shop in designer shops or small artisan shops, and in every street, in every stone, you can breathe the artistic style of great ancestors of a medieval past. Enzo Iorio’s illustrations tell all this, with love and imagination, giving space to little cats in love, pastel sunsets, adventurous hot air balloons, and mysterious men on magical bicycles.
